TV shows I watch/Reccomend me a good Drama?

I just wanted to make this post to tell you that UGLY BETTY IS COMING TO AN END ;_;



It's been on TV for about 4 years now, and to be honest, I've only watched the first couple episodes of it when it first came out and I only started watching it again this year eversince I remembered that i had a DVR and i could watch shows without the feeling that I'm forced to stop what I'm doing at a certain time to go watch it. But seeing how i loved the show so much that i even stopped what i was doing and went to go watch it in the time that the episode airs.

It's the LAST EPISODE THIS WEEK! Go watch it if you haven't, It's on Wednesday, 10pm? 9pm? Not sure! But seriously gooooo, I mean it can come on as annoying reruns in several years to come but it's the last airing and it's a really good show, It's sweet, funny, dramatic, it even has fashion in it and so there's eye candy to it too!

Another show that has ended(a week ago? but it's just the season, not the entire show. Thank Goodness!) but anyway, i really loved it, It's called
SHEAR GENIUS



When you first saw a little commercial on it, you probably though too, wow, a hair styling contest, they're running out of ideas?
'Cuz there's lots of modeling contests, fashion designing contests, and even a contest where you fight for a job at the magazine 'Elle' meaning you learn how to make articles for the magazine, put together outfits, be a super assistant who does million of errands, etc etc? Forgot what it was called, but think of the movie with Anna Hathaway, Devil Wears Prada as a contest.

I seriously thought Janine would win! She surprised me in the 9th episode, she said she read a lot of japanese magazines

This hairstyle was suppose to be lolita-inspired, It was a lot fluffier and had more shape .The bang was bolder in the show. The judges disliked it and called it a 'black hole'



I liked this one a lot! This pic sucks, in the show it was suppose to be one side chopped off and the other side still had hair to give off the 'i have hair always on the one side' feel, lol it sounds stupid but i think it's pretty cool, i wanna do that sometime in my life along with my list to get really short hair.

I also liked Glee
,I didn't really watch it when it aired or even recorded it, i watched it on DVD when i stayed with my cousin for a week and since it was icy/snowy outside, i ended up watching it. But other shows i liked alongside Glee is Big Bang Theory, America's Next Top Model, What Not To wear, Vampire Diaris and some other shows as well.

And lastly, a reality show i really like is
LITTLE MISS PERFECT!♥♥



Some people hate this show, saying how the spoiled little girls have fugly, pushy moms and already dress as sluts with heavy makeup and flashy costumes at a very young age, but i for one, find this show very, very entertaining and it made me want to go see a beauty pageant @_@



The girls int his show have like a million crowns and medals just for not messing up, I want a plastic-rhinestone-infested crown! >;0

So enough about that, can anyone reccomend me a really really good drama/asian film?
And preferably not one with a really hot, arrogant, rich guy who is a playah and teases a lot but deep inside, he has a sensitive, caring, soft side for the main character. And again, preferably not a drama where the hero/main suddenly get into a carcrash/gets cancer/you know what i mean, etc etc.

Only watched first episode, pretty good! But i remember going to this one blog and there was a post of this drama/asian film? I forgot, but it was like about 5(not sure again) pretty girls on front and a nerd with a bowl cut jumping in the sky behind them?

It's killing me! I must know what it is. Does anyone know of a drama where the actresses is an actual model in real life? pretty, cute girls? Like a good eye candy drama/movie? And thankyou so so so much!

Hah! Peeps stuffed toys, I just love little figurines, hair clips, clothing, stuffed toys and etc based on candy/food. When i was younger i went to my Uncles house and he had little food miniature as magnets! I was so obsessed with them i tried to make small food made out of clay too. Now with the internet, i realize people already make that stuff with polymer clay or just buy them plastic and in those little collectible boxes!

Does anyone have a paypal? I keep bugging my parents to get one but they keep saying 'no'. And they're not even the type to keep nagging to and the immediately give in!
It's either an 'Ok' or 'Maybe' or a dead on 'NO'
They don't even consider getting it
Maybe they'll get it when i find something i sort of need eventually leading them to getting a Paypal! perfect plan?

So anywho, How'd you get your first paypal and what made you want to get it?
It's sad how i have lots of things i want on the internet and not be able to get it. I really don't want to force myself into buying things that the crappy malls around have.

My first kind of deep post

Ok, so I went online as usual and i saw this!
A girl who met someone on Chatroulette, they hit it off and they had to go and they forgot to give each other their contact information. Now she's using the internet to help them(us!)find him!

When i read the blog post, it reminded me of this song



Like how you meet random strangers on the street and you start a conversation that's weird at first, but then you get along so well and you walk away from each other and totally regret not giving each other your info once you think about it so you can keep in touch. Meeting these strangers and them telling me about their lives make me remember that other people in their world have their own life, their own drama, their own backgrounds and i just don't know about it! You glance at them and we suddenly judge them for their first impression that they give you but they have a whole story behind them! And they are capable of being friends, or lifelong friends, or even our lover and we just don't notice it.

And so, everyone, this is my idea that makes me believe that every child, peer, or whomever has the capability and the potential to understand me and to understand each other and they could be life long 'friends' but we just can't really see it.

And yea, its so much better to meet strangers here on the internet, besides that there are many all in one place. We cant really judge them, we don't know their past or anything about them(unless they have pics or like a blog or something) but we just talk to them casually and we say things we would never say in real life because its the internet, you can say anything stupid and inappropriate and get away with it and PLUS! its easier to share our true feelings and opinions and not have to back away because we are not intimidated because we cannot hear their voice and we cannot feel the atmosphere that they bring.

Just makes us wish we had a bigger voice and spoke more and acted more like we would want to like we are on front of the screen, right?

And back to the GIRL FINDING LOVE THROUGH CHATROULETTE thing!
I just totally love it when everyone comes together and helped out each other. Like in a movie where one person is against the bad guys and they are beginning to lose, but suddenly right on the climax, a whole army of people also against the bad guys suddenly join in! (Summer Wars, Robots, and many other films i can't think right now of but you probably would know of one) or
Like when someone uploads a picture or posts something on MLIA and says

Yea i just love those things, kinda annoying like 'why would you do it online???' but i just love how thousands of people would thumbs it up. See! We're all connected somehow.

Its been more than a week, i think, since i've posted.
I'll try to do one more than one post a week or more depending on how interesting my life has been lately.
So anywho!
I went to out and picked up seventeen and some make up and my first pair of tights! =DDD
yea, my first pair.
I just had different types of leggings before and i wore them(BIG mistake) but only because i didn't know anything about clothes that look good or not and i barely even looked at the mirror. i guess i was one of those type of nerdy asian kids who would wear flare jeans and hoodies zipped all the way up all the time plus stupid looking running shoes. at least i didnt have glasses or braces, instead i just had shit hair, just messy, tangled, middle parted hair with no shape or style. At least that was all in elementary, if you knew me before and reminded me of this, I'd cover my ears and close my eyes tight and go SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP.

Back to leggings, They make my legs looks short, fat, and overall, stubby!

The pics are crappy and it makes me look shorter >:U. hah, i used my phone. But anyway, see how much is the difference and how it cuts off my leg and makes it shorter? And the tights i fitted were footless tights so like, one half of the foot part is cut off. I ended buying brown footed tights and black stirrups! When I'm older, maybe out of highschool, I'll make a resolution that i could only wear pants once a month, but that will probably be when I'm 19 or something. I wanna be more of a tights girl by then!

While at the mall, i saw these!



It came out last February but the nordstrom nearby didn't really highlight that 'til now. They are DKNY's Smoothies.
(i just love it when people name their product after sugary drinks/sweets/pastries/candy/whatever. I have a feeling to get it like 5 times more =D. Don't you?)
Back to the topic! I like to think of it as short spandex leggings/colorful biker shorts you layer under anything.
And i love how this blog describes is as "Candy Colored ShapeWear!"

It looked nice on the mannequins. They were all brightly, colorfully dressed with short shorts layered on top of the 'colorful biker shorts' I so wanted to take a picture but i didn't bring a camera. It's super nice to see that not only the top can be layered! But so can the bottom!



I really REALLY like the 3rd one! Too bad i don't even have a blazer(still on the hunt!). Good thing DKNY put this outfit together, or else I'd only picture a short dress+smoothies or short shorts+smoothies.

The short leggings/biker shorts reminded me of this!



It's from Forever 21. I kinda wanted it for a while. Like put it under a really short skirt and when it would accidentally flip up or something, it would be seen (instead of panties) and it would be oh, so pretty!

Writing all about short biker shorts/leg wear makes me want to get it now!
Don't know where to wear it to, though. Definitely not to school, or maybe i should suck it up and try it and see how it goes? I just feel weird dressing in something different than what everyone else has already seen/wore. Who knows, maybe everyone will start wearing it. Like the time i wore short shorts+ thigh high socks to school and i suddenly kept getting the best compliments any classmate has really ever given to me. You probably seen the short short + thigh high socks before but i've never seen anyone wear it to school/in town so i just tried it and wow, i kinda want to shoot myself now.

Spring Fashion!

Spring starts tomorrow On the 20th of March
So it's time to take out the dresses and short shorts we've been keeping during the winter! I've been collecting summer dresses and fitting stuff like rompers for the past months when it was very cold. I would wear those, but it just didn't feel right. Like not in the way I would be the only one baring my legs, after all no matter how hot or cold, wet or dry, there's always some chick who would be wearing super short shorts. But anyway, It wont feel right in a way of how used to jeans i am!

Maxi dresses! I kinda want them, even though I'm short and i have a feeling I'd drown in them even with high heels.



Do you think Maxi dresses look too beachy and something you'd wear at home? I've been seeing pictures of celebs wearing maxi dresses and it's convincing me to wear one to school even though i would never wear it since my classmates only see the combo of top+jeans, short shorts+knee highsocks from hottopic(ugh, -_-;;)+shirt , high waisted skirts, and yea you get me!

The line has rompers and printed blazers and stuff! I just love it when designers give classic pieces a modern twist by making things like blazers into printed blazer or a denim blazer. See, diff materials, diff print? I think it's genius, But it could easily go wrong and look granny-ish.

There was another picture somewhere, i forgot where it was,anyway the Rebecca Taylor dress was belted and the Forever 21 dress looked exactly like it! It's old news that Forever 21 is kind of a copy cat, getting sued by Harajuku Girls and having forums by sites like Threadless.com claiming Forever 21 stole their designs and all, I kinda want the dress anyway.

First Blog, First Post

Hey! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Shaira (pronounced as Shy-ra)
This is my first blog and my first post.
After one full year of going to other people's blog religiously, I've finally decided to come out and comment and make my own blog! yayyyy.
But for those people whose blogs i go to all the time, i just want to tell you that i really appreciate and look up to you guys. Even though you have just started out or have been blogging for many years, I've may have been to you're blog a couple times and i have enjoyed reading what you have typed out about your current obsessions, your life, and your opinions. Even though you don't know it, there's maybe some weirdo out there somewhere in the world behind the computer who won't even comment(lol, an example: me)but anyway, that stranger really Really loves your blog and takes time to read into it and you just don't know that Anon.
So thank you! I can't really put my feelings into words but this is how sort of feel ;)

But anywho
This is me!

I just thought I'd post this up to see how much I'll change as i continue this blog.
Who knows, maybe I'll dye my hair a color I'd never thought i would and i try something i normally would never try.
A side note!
I dyed my hair for the first time last November! I never thought i would dye my hair brown but those damn japanese magazines really influenced me >_<
